Its botanicals contain all of the traditional components of a fine absinthe: wormwood (Artemisia Absinthium), green anise, star anise, hyssop and fennel.
Tasting Note: Before diluting, Parisienne is a clear, deep lime green colour and displays an attractive, fresh herbal aroma. Upon adding iced water its louche has great consistency - turning smoky and milky spearmint green. On the palate it is softly textured and refreshing with discreet spicy flavours and a complex mid-palate of anise. Rich and powerful, La Fée Parisienne is harmonious and full of personality with a classic, delicate bitter-sweet finish.
Every batch is personally approved by renowned absinthe expert Marie-Claude Delahaye. She has stated, "La Fée captures the aroma and taste that great writers and artists such as Rimbaud, Toulouse-Lautrec and Vincent van Gogh enjoyed at the end of the 19th century." La Fée is also the only absinthe endorsed by the Musée de l'Absinthe in Auvers-sur-Oise, France - based on Provenance, Authenticity and Quality, product of Paris, France.
